La Renardais, an elegant 19th century stone built country house, is situated on the outskirts of Plouër-sur-Rance, a pretty riverside Breton village. The house has been recently restored by us both to preserve it's original charm, and to offer modern-day comforts to our guests.

Enjoy a leisurely Breakfast (*see below) on the private terrace at the rear of the house set in a large floral garden described by Alastair Sawday "...a triumph of British talent and Breton weather..." in his renowned French Bed and Breakfast Guide "Special Places to Stay".

La Renardais is tastefully decorated, the original beams and stonework blending together comfortably with more modern furnishings. During winter you have all the warmth of full central heating, double glazing throughout, and a fine traditional log fire-place in the spacious lounge. The dining room has a parquet floor overlaid with colourful oriental rugs; the walls are adorned with our collection of fine original water-colours.

The four en-suite guest bedrooms, which are reached by the original chestnut staircase, are described separately on the next page "The Bedrooms". There is safe and private off-road parking for all our guests' cars on the gravelled garden in front of the house.
